The ceremony, part of the national Enterprise Week, took place on Tuesday night at the Ulster Transport Museum, Belfast and was attended by senior representatives of major businesses, banks and government agencies in Northern Ireland. Derry-based software firm Singularity has won a large six-figure deal with Capita Total Document Solutions to integrate their technology with the Swordfish Document Management system. The combined offering will be used to automate high-volume document management and call centre activities for Capita's insurance business process outsourcing unit, Capita Life and Pensions. Singularity was selected after a rigorous competitive tendering process. The deal is the latest in a series of major contracts announced by Singularity, and comes on foot of the company reporting that its customer base has increased by a third in 2007. |
